Wow, I love that quilt! I searched the web, without any luck, for the Bullseye pattern. I, too, am not wild about rag quilts, but this one is striking. Since it is a rag quilt, would it be necessary to machine quilt it? I think of rag quilt construction being a quilt as you go approach. I'm trying to fall in love with free motion quilting ...... am envious for all of you who have conquered it! I have my eyes on a Bernina w/ stitch regulator. My sister has one and does a phenomenal job of free motion quilting. Howver, she was never able to conquer it until she had a regulated stitch. Perhaps there is still hope for me yet. Nita

I simply love the quilt in your avatar SSQ. It looks easy enough sewing it but the agony to me would be color choices and color placement. Maybe God knows that if I had those skills as well, that my little house could not hold all the fabric I would be buying.Your free motion on it and the other quilt posted with it, is great. I think I need a team mate to help with the colors, etc., LOL... but then again, where to stash the stash? Have a great day today and stay safe, Cindy

After a second look I realized it wasn't a second quilt but the amazing back of the circle one - so cool!!! Is there a pattern we can purchase ? Thanks , Cindy

    That's beautiful!

I'm in a similar situation. I took a FM class and have done a little, but this week I had a quilt to finish that screams outline quilting. Decided to give it a try, and it's turning out wonderfully! It's for my first grandchild, so I really want it to be nice. I'll be showing it here soon!
