Yes, you are definitely weird :D :D Even though finishing the binding is the final step to a finished quilt, I procrastinate doing it. I have rheumatoid arthritis & my hands don't work well, I don't have too much trouble with all the other steps in quilting, putting the binding on is just plain DIFFICULT for me.

I like doing the binding. So do we have a new group called "wierd for binding".
Sometimes I sew in by machine, sometimes by hand. Depends on the size, who it's for and how hot it is in the house.

I always hand sew my bindings and enjoy doing so. For me doing all the cutting is tedious and boring but a necessary part of the whole. When each portion is done they each bring their own feeling of satisfaction so I carry on.

If you aren't weird then I am. I hate sewing on binding. Guess it's not that I hate it so much as that I am so slow in doing it. Seldom do "hand" work and if takes fooooorevvvvver to accomplish it when I could be doing other things. Like wasting time, opps I meant spending quality time, on the QB.
