I read a saying somewhere "Quilters' cats have the best beds" but it seems their dogs do quite well too!
I'm the proud owner of a GSP (German Shorthaired Pointer) and am amazed by the number of GSP owners who quilt and belong to this board (judging by the photos in avatars).

Just finished my dog's 'Vacation Quilt'. I've not only made quilts specifically for my wonderful Akita, but once made one for my MIL, but it was too nice for her, so I gave it to my dog and made another one for undeserving MIL!

I made a quilt for my Grand-dog, Oliver (Ollie). He loves it. My DD tells me that all the time!
