Thank you, Very Virginia. My borther is coming Nov 12 & he & I are going to try to decide what we need to do with Mom. Just that i feel so quilty. Last week we put her on a depression med to help with the negative attitude she has. Will not accept she has arth in her hip, went to water theray 3 times a week for 2 months, said it didn't help. Refuses to walk much around the house. She is pleasant as long as you don't ask her to walk.
Thanks again for the reply. I hope & pray everyday for the strength to keep doing what I am doing. God I am sure is here with me, to give me the strength.

Nancy, thank you for sharing this. It made me think of my own father before his death nearly two years ago. As his health diminished he lost his short-term memory. He sure held on to the long-term though. How delightful to hear him tell stories of his youth. I think it gave him peace at the end.
