I gave up fabric buying for the rest of the year so we could rescue and treat a heartworm positive 4 year old shepherd!!

My morkie has to have his food warmed and his water chilled - he drinks bottled (no special brand). He was 'kicked out' of Camp Bow Wow for 'nipping' (he just wanted to play), then ran away from the Pet Nanny, so now he is Home Alone and a Pet Sitter comes over 3 times a day to feed, and play with him while we are gone. He is much happier.

My hubbie made our dog a mahogony bed. They each have a blanket they cover with in the winter.

I don't see it as 'spoling them'..as much as it is loving them back. They give so much unconditional love, they deserve it back too. We took them out of their own natural habitat, and brought them into ours..so they deserve to be well cared for..we just lost our Heidi, Oct. 21, and she was spoiled, in some ways, and so is Popeye, according to my kids...lol...she was only 4, so her little short life she was well cared for.

Well, Iggy is a strange cat. He won't drink water out of the bowl so we have to "water the cat"....stand in the bathroom with a small stream of water running in the sink so he can lap it up as it comes out of the faucet.

I have to say.. we spoil our babies also. I am now so glad that we are and do, as we just found out my little buster (minni doxie) has lymphoma. So for the last 5 days I have cried enough to make a new river here in Wisconsin. He is only going to be 8 in Feb.

My rescued chihuahua-terrier mix won't eat without a sprinkling of Romano cheese on her food. Not tooooo spoiled. She also won't eat canned dog food. She has to have a mix of freshly cooked chicken or pork with her dry food.

Bless your heart, and I know you will be rewarded a 100 times over for that. Not even a fabric lover can compare the love of buying fabric to the love of a precious furbaby especially a rescued one that you make healthy again. Believe me I know and I would make the very same decision. I was gonna say sacrifice but for me it would not be one in that situation. Both of my dogs were rescues and my rat terrier was literally on deaths door when I found him.....many treatments and $$'s later he was as healthy as he could be with his issues and I had 6 wonderful years with him that I would not trade for anything in this world. Once they are in your heart they are there forever.

Well my little one is pretty spoiled. She eats breakfast and dinner with us. If you put her food down she will wait till we are seated at the table before she will start eating. She does have her special treats but she is limited as she has hepatitis and is on a special diet. We travel alot and she gets the front passenger seat while I get the back seat.... :-)

Mine are spoiled in so many ways I don't want to list them. But for all the love they give I don't think they ask for that much!
