    Love the feathers, why not do the machine quilting feathers on the top and bottom.

    I'd say put feathers around all 4 sides.

    Those feathers look a little like candy canes- it wants to be a Christmas quilt.
    And I agree;that applique is stunning. Yum. My sister is taking a class at the end of the month and has promised to share.
