What a sweet combination of fabrics for a baby quilt. Just try not to quilt it too much. I have a nasty habit of doing that and the quilt gets a bit stiff. This is ok for wall hangings, but not for babies. I need a sign next to my sewing machine which gives me a reminder.

Default Some quilting ideas

Here is a rough sketch with some quilting ideas. I didn't take the time to get my lines perfectly parallel or the shapes perfect, but you can get the idea.

Like this quilting idea. Love your quilt - great use of pink zebra ideas.

That is really cute Maybe some half circle echo quilting or repeating the rick rack. Great job

Thanks, Carol!! I love that idea too! It has beena chalenge to make this quilt with the zebra print and still have it look like a baby quilt. I just made up a simple design on graph paper and started adding things until I got it the way I liked it. My DD hasn't seen it yet but her sister has and says DD will love it.

Love the retro look to your quilt! Love it!! Not too sure about the quilting though. How about echoing the circles and internal echoing of the smaller rectangles and squares, then squiggle lines down the longer strips? Almost like a ripple effect?

Love Judy's idea. Since you have lots of open space you can do quilt designs for baby, or some images more modern such as shown in sample. Whatever you decide will look great. Love the quilt top!
