    Thanks for the replys ,this was my first strip quilt but far from my last. The side blocks were sewn strips cut into squares and sewn togeather the design that came out , well I want to try a whole quilt like that, I will post if that ever happens. Happy sewing to you all.

    That's a great idea....I'm not all that fond of strip quilts, but really love yours with the blocks that add interest...thanks for sharing with us!

    Love your layout. Might be a good way to use up some orphan blocks too. Great helper in the pictures too
