This is really adorable. Your quilt will be so gorgeous once totally completed.

I'm scrap busting. Actually I'm using up crumbs that I saved for 4 yo DGD to craft with - the pile was getting too big! Don't really have a plan or know what I'm doing. I'm just sewing a lot of little pieces together all directions and when it's big enough I square it off and sew it to other squares. It'll probably end up a doll quilt for DGD. There is also a scrappy of different size strips on my design wall that DGD designed We're sewing it together a little at a time when she comes to visit.

I've really been scrap busting all year, just not with scrappy quilts. I've done about 6 lap quilts and all but one have used smallish (1/4 - 1 yd) pieces left over from other projects. I had to buy a few fabrics to make them work, but most of them have come from my scrap pile. It's been fun.

I am making a foundation log cabin, 5" blocks, I made 2 so far but I think it will be really colorful and it does use loads of scraps, I do have a bunch of squares cut up however, so I will have to do something with those!

That is looking like a quilt my Grandmother would have made.

You inspire me to do this, I rearranged yesterday. I have a lot of scraps to get started on something. You gave me a great idea. Yours is very pretty.

I think you are going to have a beautiful scrappy quilt, just stay sane!! I am starting to cut up my scraps for a scrappy. Hope it turns out as nice as yours!

Bless your heart for sewing all those 2" squares together - it's a great quilt.
