can a Longarm quilter help me
#31
I had the same problem with my Avante also, found out I had threaded it wrong. They have great support, called me back within an hour and had it running great in no time. They also guided me through adjusting the tension for future use and I can't say enough good about them. It is worth calling 'customer service ' if you can't fix it on your own. Good luck.

Yes, they do. I wind my own bobbins and it was the difference between being able to use Glide and threads like that or not using them. they work with shiny type of threads. I just did a big queen and no breakage/nesting the entire quilt. Yeahhh! I now love Glide thread. The bobbin Genie is dirt cheap. I have the Innova version of it and there were 12 in a package.

I "unsewed" 3 times on a quilt when I first started longarming--FINALLY (after check tension; round of bobbin, how bobbin wound etc) that I did not have the thread "seated" in the intermediate tension--instantly stopped my problems. So developed a checklist of things to check before I start on a project.
