    Green. I agree with those who say this would allow the center to remain the focus.

    I would do a beige flange and a dark green border.

    Red will make it pop and green will tone it down.

    I agree. Red would add another eye catching element, that while in keeping with the theme, would distract from Santa. Love your quilt!
