My Best Christmas EVER!

What a great picture....beautiful quilts and good looking grandsons. I made an extra long double for our grandson who is 6'7" when he graduated from high school knowing he would take it off to college. He called us a couple of days later to thank us again.

Love this!! I'm always saddened, as many of you are, when I hear of an unappreciative response to the gift of a quilt. This warms the heart! AAANNNNDDDDD, I LOVE your quilts! Especially the red/white Ohio star quilt... I'm planning one very similar to this one... have always wanted to do a red/white and I love Ohio star! Thanks for sharing!

Guess what ?? Grandma made them and if they are like my grand kids sons or daughters, a quilt from grandma is special. These are beautiful quilts good job.
I think my kids and grands are disappointed if they don't get one. One grand son brags every quilt we have my grandma made . Just had to do repair one a grand daughters quilt , their apartment hot water pipes froze , broke and destroyed the ceiling in their bedroom which collapsed ,they lost all their bedroom . She retrieved her quilts, the cleaned up but one had some major damage, I had to reline it and patch holes in the front. She was so happy when I returned it to her, ready for another run on life.
