We got another inch of snow last night. I walked to my compost pile in the backyard to dump a pail of food scraps and the snow was up to my knees=22". Some friends and I were talking the other day and saying that these below zero temps. are getting real old, but at least we here in MN are prepared for that kind of weather, warm clothing, insulated homes, people that know how to drive a car in snow and icy conditions. Those of you in the southern U.S., that's a different story. You don't typically need winter down filled jackets and you don't have snow plows. I'm anxiously waiting for Spring to arrive. May is still a long ways off.
