    Welcome from Wisconsin! When I started quilting I had an old Singer in a wooden cabinet. I made larger quilts and quilted them on that machine. Just be sure you have enough support on the left side of the machine to hold the weight of the quilt when you start quilting it. You'll love your new hobby and this is such a nice place for advice and encouragement.
