    Cool projects. I love the shawl mainly because I am constantly making shawls for the local nursing home. The shape you used stays on the best.

    My mother made Christmas Tree Skirts in a circle with a round hole in the middle and split out to the edge. She sent one to a sister in law out of state and got a wonderful thankyou note telling her how much she enjoyed wearing the wrap. My mother was so embarest but never told her the difference.
    You's has a collar so they won't get confused. Beautiful work.

    As for the fur collar, I had one about 40 year ago on a nice black coat. The coat went out, but I kept the collar. A few years ago I found it in the closet, and it was garbage. I had to carefully pick up the pieces and sweep up the fur.
