    Ok. Let's put a new spin on this. I have a Singer 15-75 I dearly love. It has been acting goofy about the tension. I remember rebuilding it but I just took it apart anyway. What I saw that I didn't like was the tension spring - I replaced it but I had the one with the shorter arm. I just put on a longer arm and Sweetie and I are much happier.
