    I like the hot pink, it kinda works with the hot old broads. hehehe. but I think the narrow is better

    I like the narrower width. I agree the light pink looks washed out.

    In my opinion, the hot pink is not the right color either - would you be able to get a shade closer to the magenta/purple in the blocks?

    Or the bronze/olive green - it would separate the blocks, but not detract from the blocks like (I think) the pink does.

    With the black, your block characters are the stars. I think the pink sashing draws attention from them, but they really stand out with the black. I don't think the light pink works. I think red is an intriguing color option. It would have a darker value than the pink, so wouldn't stand out as much as the pink sashing does, while still adding some color.

    I love the bright pink in the narrower version. It just so suits those flashy ladies!

    I think the pink overpowers the whole quilt. How about a small white, The blocks are sooooo cute!
