    BOO HOO!
I wish everyone could have the space and a table long enough to use the Sharon Schamber board basting method, which is really pleasant (no kneeling, bending or reaching). I feel terrible whenever I read about people being thwarted by the task of basting, or crawling on the floor to baste!! Basting was also my main obstacle until I learned about this method.

Some people have mentioned the idea of offering binding services, I wonder if anyone offers a basting service?

This is my least favorite step also. We have a ping pong table; I use painters tape to square, boards to roll, use temporary spray adhesive and never have bubbles or wrinkles, but it is hard on my back.

The first thing that came to me is my husband. It seems that every time I start to sew or cut he comes in and wants me to help, look at something. Drives me crazy. Just saying.

It drives me crazy when I've just finished a quilt top and I'm so anxious to get it on the longarm and then I remember - I still have to make the backing. I piece most of my backs from leftover fabric from the front, which means it can be almost as much work as making the top, and not nearly as much fun.

I just had this happen to me and I had taken each pin out at the seams which were 1.5 inches apart, a lot of repining.

I don't like hand stitching on bindings. I have a good machine technique that I like. I just can't wait to get to my next quilt and the hand stitching takes too long. It's all about me being impatient

I wanted to read about the gripes of other quilters. The bobbin running out and not realizing it until I've gone through so many pieces. I've heard some machines have a bobbin minder that lets you know when the bobbin thread is low. Any quilters out there that have that option and does it work well for you? Secondly, I don't know if I could call this a gripe but I don't care for sandwiching the quilt. I must 7 or 8 tops to do, mostly charity.

My own uneven measurements that have to be straightened out. But mostly the blasted telephone. All I have to do is sit down to quilt or piece and the phone goes off. At least 3 or 4 times. Come on folks I love you, but leave me alone

    I fix as I go.
What drives me crazy is the clock moves too fast in the evenings. I need more time.
