we have a dog that is supposed to be a lhaso/poodle cross. Full grown he is 22lbs. I don't think he is poodle though...some type of terrier maybe but not poodle. He is a really good dog if a little stubborn and thinks that in another life he was a pitt bull or something....his nickname is Cujo. He spends his nights on the back of the couch at the window watching to make sure all is right in his world...if he sees something out of place he sounds the alarm.

I agree that he is just adorable. Perhaps sheepdog and poodle. Be sure to come back on and let us know.

We bought a Lhasa-Poo from a breeder and he was supposed to be 12-15 lbs. Well, he kept growing, and GRowing, and GROWing and finally topped out at 25 lbs. I called the breeder and she told me she didn't know what happened; she has both parents and neither if them weighed more than 13 lbs. So they just don't always know. If we ever have another dog, I'll get it from a shelter or rescue facility. This particular breeder had everything out in the open, where all could see how the parents were being treated, the puppies in the house being socialized with the kids, and everything was so clean! Definitely not a puppy mill!

They think Maltese and Poodle.. he is 6 months and 25 lbs (they think six months by the teeth)..
So breed? and how big do you think if you were to guess he will grow to?
First thing I am dying to do is give the poor pooch a pruning! he has a bit way too much hair. maybe a teddy bear cut? oh I am so excited.. cross your fingers.. I think I could love this one.
I think he definitely has some Bichon in him but not poodle. We have a Bichon, Lasaopso(?),poodle & the poodle hair definitely comes out. If he has a brown streak down his back then he is part Bichon as that is a characteristic of them. He is just adorable & you do need to take him home. Good luck!!

He's beautiful! Maybe some Old English Sheepdog in there, by his face?

We had a "give away" dog that looked exactly like him. It was a Lhasa Apso. If you google the breed you can compare. They are loving and faithful dogs to have. Very good with children.
