Well - I went online after I got home from work and ordered a right-hand Martelli cutter and extra blades from Overstock. com. I've seen the video about this product and was really intriqued. The cutter looks wonderful and later I will get the mat. They are self healing like the green ones (can't remember the names) and they also roll and won't bend or ripple if left rolled up. I left my green mat in the heat of the car for about 1/2 hour and have one side that has a big ripple in it. Was able to smooth it out a bit with the iron and weights, but it won't go away completely. I'm looking forward to my new cutter. :)

My big purchase in Paducah last year, was the Martelli cutter, mat, and ruler. They are expensive, but so much better quality than the ones that I had. The mat doesn't warp. I have seen them roll it and then stand on it. Today I heard the guy doing a demonstration on the mat say that you could iron on it and it wouldn't hurt. It can be put outside on concrete if you ever needed to flatten it.
The cutter and ruler are great. Buy the cutter. You will love it.
See if you can find a video on how to use it, because you stand to the side to cut and you have to hold your hand correctly.
We are in Paducah this week and having a ball. It is a little different with the vendors being outside in the Pavillion. It looks like a big white bubble. Some vendors are still in the convention center, but the hotel is closed, so no one is there.

"Well, I guess I'm odd man out. Have the Martelli rotary cutter
and don't use it much. Never got the hand of it so I always end up reaching for the 60mm Olfa which I love."
Try to find the video showing how to use it. You will really like it, if you use it correctly.

Hi
I just went to the Abbotsford sewing expo last weekend and picked up a martelli cutter at a great notion's booth.
they have a website:
http://www.agreatnotion.com/product...._Rotary_Cutter:_Right_Hand&productId=730
and because they are canadian, you should be able to get it from them.
They didn't have the mat/ruler - I would love to have those someday,
Danita
