Mine does, but they will ask you if you want them to bring the box of stuff out before they say anything to your child. My GD is still to young to me to leave comfortably by herself, so she stays by me, looks at the pretty colors and sings!! When she's a little older, I won't have a problem letting her play, I don't think she can catch any more crap with their toys than she does at the daycare!!

Only one out of eight in my area has one and a little table for them to sit at with coloring books and crayons. Windy Moon Quilts.

One store in my area had a DVD player that showed continuous animal films and cartoons. I don't remember ever seeing a child act up, except when it was time to leave. As for germs, I think my kids picked up more germs at Sunday School than in any store.

OK Quilt Works in Okla City has packets for each child to color, play, etc. It's toward the middle back of the store with tables and chairs. I see kiddos sitting there playing all the time. Thank goodness I don't have to take any with me when I go.

No but DD is old enough now that I just send her to the pattern area with her NintendoDS.

My LQS has a little room in the back with a few toys, a child-size table and chairs, etc. A neat little place for the kiddies while mom indulges her "habit".

No but I think it's a great idea! The only downside I can see would be the "health" issues that might be involved nowadays.
