I've done a lot of different crafts over the years and have settled into my favorites of sewing, counted cross stitch and scrapbooking. I'll still oddball crafts when the mood strikes but the three favorites keep me happy. I'll never live long enough to do all the projects I have planned, collected and imagined.

I think it is coming back into vogue.
    What is tat!? :? :?

I like to sew aprons, crochet, swedish weaving, pony bead banners, Knifty knitting looms and embrodiery. I do some of the squares for quilts also.

    Ms Shawn,

Sort of like lace making. My GD learned it at scouts in Perkasie, PA. She didn't teach me as yet.

That sounds like me! If it caught my eye, I learned to do it. The only things that stuck are painting, quilting and I still do some crochet.....
Here is a big rug I crocheted about 20 years ago and a couple of my paintings.....

Boy, it sounds like we are all cut out of the same cloth!! Pardon that pun!!! There is not a craft out there (except tatting) that I have not tried. Some came and went, some stayed a while, and some stole my heart forever!! Those are quilting, oil and watercolor painting, and sewing garments for my grandchildren. I knit in the summer because quilting is too warm in my lap. and now I have to go make a doll quilt for that exchange...my first doll quilt. Wish me luck!

I too have done practically every new craft that has come my way over the years but now I focus on quilting, machine embroidering and working in the wood shop making signs and ink pens with DH.

Beautiful cross stitching. I like to embroider, sew dolls, scrapbook, make cards. A little drawing & painting. In years past did some wood crafting. Knit, some crochet. Tried some other things but usually end up back at the sewing machine.

I cross stitch also as well as sew and crochet. In fact, quilting is my newest craft.
