Okay! Lol... I have some blank miniature wooden nesting dolls similar to these but a small set of three http://www.matrioshka-gift-shop.com/catalog/m5.htm my son was playing with one and I thought it would be really cool to turn the largest two into a pincushions by putting in the stuffing and gluing fabric to the bottom half, so that the top half would fit right over the top, acting as a lid to keep all the pins secure on the go! I want to make the biggest one for pins and the medium size one for needles and the smallest just a decoration.

    What do you think?

Perfect idea!!!!! You could even use mod podge and put fabric over the wooden part. They will be really cute!

Okay, I put a quickie tutorial together, please note, the one I will make for the swap will be completely different so no spoiler worries! http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-66343-1.htm#1626345 (I'm still working on actual words but I think the pictures cover the steps enough for now)
