Well I think I will start looking for one or two to use. Thanks for all the hints.

    I just found this

    http://www.quilting-warehouse.com/

It was something like 27.95 on this sight
I just looked and that's the correct price. They also have the extra mounting bracket for $5.89. I'm ordering one of each now

Mine had adhesive to stick it to the machine. The guides to hold the electrical cord also had sticky stuff on them so the cord is stuck along the machine. I really need another one! I like a LOT of light when I'm sewing. But, I do love the one I have!

I LOVE mine and can't imagine how I've sewed for so many years without it! [Of course, I was much younger then, but that wouldn't have anything to do with it, would it? ] I bought mine with a 40% off coupon from Joann's online. It comes off the base easily so you can put your machine in a case or whatever. As others have noted, it's also fabulous for "un-sewing" -- just aim the light right wherever you're working.

Get it. You'll never regret it!

I have this bendable light and I just love it. It does not have a magnet on it.

My bendable bright light arrived yesterday. OMG how did I live without this wonderful item? I've always been sewing in a shadow no matter how I tried to move lights around the machine. No more :-) My sewing will be much more enjoyable without the eye strain I've had to put up with. I bought and light and an extra bracket for less than $42 including shipping from Quilting Warehouse.

I have the Ott that sits on the floor and bends to wherever I want it. Love it.

I had a bendable light for my bernina. But it really didn't make any difference. The light on the Bernina was bright enough. I have now sold that machine. The light though was nice and would have added quite a bit of light with another machine.
