    You may not need to wait for a frame to quilt this. I quilt all of my quilts--from "littles" to "bigs"--in a 14" hoop that I purchased at JoAnn's. I like it a lot better than the frame, which is now stored in the attic! The hoop can be turned this way and that so you don't do hand contortions as in a frame and it doesn't take up the whole room while you are working. Company coming?--just fold it up and put it away for the meantime. I use a card table to hold the weight of the part I'm not working on.
