I recently posted in Tutorials "fabric from the garbage can". This technique will use even the smallest of bits and thread snips as well.....check it out, it might give you an idea you can use.

Another thing you could do with them is take water soluble stabilizer and place your tiny scraps and colorful thread pieces on and sew over them and make scarves, flowers, etc. You would have to sew them down good.

Here are three links. On the second link you need to scroll down a bit. First one is thread only, second is yarn and fabrics and the third is tiny fabric scraps and thread. They are all pretty.

Oh My!! They would end up all over my backyard. My youngest Boxer chews up all the pet beds.

See if your nearest Association for the Blind can use them for stuffing the soft toys they make.

When I have scraps that are too small to use, or bits when I have been straightening up the fabric I put them in my garden compost bin. They compost down as they are a natural fibre.I am a recycle person.

What a great idea-just what I am going to do with mine! I have been saving them for many years-just in case I found a good use for them-and I just did! I even have a gallon-size zip lock bag filled with tiny points cut off half sqauare triangles and the like (I'm a hopeless hoarder when it comes to fabric!)
