I have ordered from them several times and am a very satisfied customer. They are very careful to cut generously, and their service is great. They have a very good selection of fabrics, and notions...great company.

Wish I had that problem...many of my shops give half an inch but others are right on the line...those shops I have to watch carefully as I have been shorted...by at least 1/2 inch...so codos to you and this shop!

I had the same experience with a kit I ordered from Connecting Threads--very generously cut. But I find at JoAnn's they cut very sparingly. I guess "you get what you pay for" is true.

I used to buy my fabrics at Walmart all of the time until they discontinued it. I never had a problem and the craft department ladies were quite friendly and informative.

I've ordered from this shop several times, and they are always very good, and personable as well. I would not hesitate to let my friends order from them. (Their prices are always below retail, too!)

Not my Hancocks. They would give me the extra inch or 2 and if there was a small amount left like 1/4 - 1/2 yd, they'd offer it to me at a reduced charge.

I think it is delightful when you realise that a lot of business people are also in the game to provide a service because they love the craft. A friend of mine was told she had to pay for a major service and part for her overlocker because it was skipping stitches. Her husband was prepared to spend up to $200 to have it fixed. I took it to my LQS as he is a good technician. He found it to be a build - up of lint behind the tension discs and charged $40...
