Now I can't even decide on the fabric. I've changed my mind too many times. I've now gone to 2 LQS and nothing. I did see things for Valentines though. Here's a pic of some kitty blankets I've made some years ago. I know I have another one with more of them but can't find it. I did look at my flower beds in the front yard and I have some hyacinths already coming up. It's way to early for that. It's not even Jan. I want to do another hexagon doll quilt. I haven't even finished the 2 I'm almost done.

Oh Pat. seeing your pet blankets reminds me of my mama when I was in Jr. high she learned how to do the ripple stitch and made several afgans. That was a long long long time ago. Your combos are very pretty.

They are real easy to make so this is what I do while watching tv at night. I did find the other pic while I was looking for something else. Do you crochet or knit?

Pat those are so pretty. My mother also made afghans with that pattern. I have one now put up she made. She always told me they are easy to make, but I haven't made one yet. It is too early for your hyacinths to come up. I hope that doesn't happen all over, and then when spring gets here we lose lots of pretty plants. I need to do some work in my flower beds before spring does get here so I can do it before growing grass gets in my way. It's hard for me to sew right now too in a way I guess, because of sewing so much right before Christmas. I have done a bit of working on some hexies. Mostly trying to get a bit of work done in the house today.

I crochet. what about the mittens? what are they?
it will be a mess if spring bulbs start popping up too soon.
then what will happen in the spring?
Went to lunch with my son, he paid, so nice. I always treat him.
It was sweet of him. He always knows the right thing to do.he good at
gift giving too. bought me an ounce of opium perfume for Christmas.

Now if I can just find out what I want to do next, i'd be doing great.

The mittens are children's size. I made 64 pair and those are already gone. I've never even taken a pic of them before. I think I have 2 more left so I'll take a pic tomorrow. That was really nice of your son. Mine was real good today and stayed home from school so I didn't have to babysit. Well I'm sure that was not the reason he stayed home. I wonder about the rest of the week. The weather here has been too warm so I think it's fooling the bulbs. I have 2 Christmas cactus that have already bloomed and now they are starting again.

The pet afgans are very nice. What do you do with so many? Do you sell at craft fairs? I can crochet and knit. In fact I am going to knit myself a pair of slippers with thick wool yarn. My feet are always freezing. It is getting cold and blowing hard. I wish the plant bulbs were correct and spring was here. I'm going to bed early cause I am freezing.

it's going down to 20* tomorrow, and Friday 50*, crazy weather.
I need to make a few mats for the cages for the animal no kill shelter.
I gave them a beautiful quilt to raffle off and I don't like how the lady
who ran the shelter "won" the quilt, by being the only one who entered.
I'm leary about donating to them again, I know they do good, but she
did BAD in my book.
