One more flimsy for the fabulous quilter: 9 patches and snowballs with a Wizard of Oz twist for my 7 year old daughter. The backing is peaking out under the top.

Fraew: Great finish, absolutely perfect for a seven year old. Took a peek at your album. The way you organized it was like taking a tour of your sewing room. What a great body of work. Love the black and red blocks, that is going to be a beautiful quilt. I remember seeing the panel of the pig and thinking how great all the fabrics worked together. Thank you for sharing!

Love how you framed your inner blocks with the corners on your borders. And directional! Good job. Now for the quilting part, oh what fun.

So great to see everyone's progress and pictures. I just finished quilting my purple cat quilt and am in the process of getting the binding stitched on! So many mistakes on this one - it is actually the second quilt I FMQ'd but the very first one had so many issues I almost gave up on FMQ all together. But this one had definite improvement, so I'll keep chugging away at it.

Beautiful job, Fraew and kaelynangelfoot. And I agree the first one is perfect for a seven y/o!
And the purple one is perfect for me. Lol!

Kaelynangelfoot: Love the color and the pattern on your finish. Your FM looks great, glad that you came out feeling encouraged inspite of the problems. More than anything with FM I find that I am less tense about the process, hope that happens to you.

Love both the quilts. The pink one speaks to me and the purple is too cute. Kaely, your FMQ looks great. The floral pattern fills in the open spaces nicely.

Kaelyn--cute cat quilt, nice FMQing....I am just starting to practice.

Here is what I've been working on today...PT has me limited to 1hr a day sewing so it is hard to get a lot done.

Quilting propellers on airplane quilt (might actually get this finished this month!) I have one border left to add and then binding.

A QB friend sent me this phone fabric. DH works for an independent telephone company...it was perfect to make him an armrest cover/remote and earbud holder. I just have the binding left. I have some more green and also blue telephones and plan to make him a quilt some day too.
