BRT - Now I know why your blocks are always so creative, and why you are a natural at keeping us in line and on track  Glad you are enjoying your current career :-)

I recently went through some old "stuff" and found a picture I drew in 4th grade. It showed fish in a net and I got a D. My adult self looks at that pic and thinks: Gee, I'm pretty sure the assignment was "fish in a net" (In those days I still followed rules). I can recognize them as fish. (In those days I had not been enlightened to Darwin and the fish did not hold tools). It wasn't done sloppy......so why the D-grade????? It MAY explain why I don't like to eat fish, though.

OK...I guess I have to quit slacking now that I know the back story! I admire you staying at home with your little ones. They are lucky kids in todays economy! And how did I guess you were one of the "fun" teachers anyway??

:D :-D

Also...just to let ya'll know...there won't be another chicken block swap until sometime in the new year. The board is currently flooded with swaps and Patrice/Shadow would like for the heavy activity to spread out a bit...so we'll let everyone get caught up on swaps..take a deep breath, then either I or BlueRibbonToes will host one...(maybe I should have asked you before I said that BRT  )..
