I just completed the 5 sets and one extra block. They are safely in their zip lock baggies and the labels affixed. I have two hostess gifts in the box and will only need to get my return envelope and stamps and then mail. I think I can get that much done tomorrow. One more thing off my plate. Whewwww.......

I think I'd better get my ducks in a row. I had shingles about 3 years ago and now my back itches like crazy. They said I could get them again.

All the blocks posted so far, I think lol...If I missed any I apologize.
Sorry they are a bit skewed and maybe some of the colors don't mix and match next to each other, but it's 4ish am and I've been in bed with the flu the last couple of days.
And I did add a couple (sorry can't remember who) that said they were keeping those, But I liked them just fine They are all Beautiful blocks !!

Oh my Marietta, That looks really awesome. Gives you a great idea on what it will look like when finished. I love all the different size, scale and color together. Adds a lot of visual interest to a simple traditional block. This is going to be one pretty quilt to finish. I'm working on finishing all the extra blocks for mine this weekend. I think according to the Math and with help from the Internet, it will take 72 blocks to make a queen size quilt. Any extras, there were a few that the color wasn't quite right, I will put on the back. I have 16 more blocks to piece and then just one more step to go. And, of course, wait to receive back my swap blocks. But, this is one quilt that will be all ready to go to quilter for quilting almost as soon as I get it back. These blocks go together so quickly, they practically make themselves.

Then It will be time to move on to the Summertime Blocks that I'm making for the 2018 Summertime Block Swap.

For any of you that are new to quilting, I found these charts on Pinterest.

Math is not my strong suit. I am always appreciative when others are their to share their knowledge. This will make it so much easier for me in putting my quilt tops together.

It's also a good idea to figure out the size you like your quilts. I like mine to be about 90 x 108, give or take a little. That works well on my Queen size bed. I don't do a ton of overhang. Just a personal choice.
