this is simply amazing! Taco in a bag is another thing that this reminded me off.

Gonna have to bookmark for camping/fishing season! Thanks for sharing!

I wonder if the bags you use for cooking a turkey might be better for you. You'd have to make sure the opening is well sealed. Just a thought given a few people have mentioned plastics and harmful toxins.

you know what that is what we all like about this board or at least I DO your are all so help full-- I agree think I will think about your idea you are so right about the boiling bag ideas-- I do not use any sprays in my house unless it is an emergency and can't remember when that was- I can not breath well when you spray stuff in the air-- so am thinging now about the boil in bags - wonder about those bags you do vegs in oh that probably is different. Really I am glad for any hints anyone has for hints that helps keep them coming- shall try those bags for turkeys have there here even for small ones. emmy

I tried this recipe and absolutely love it. Makes it so easy. Now I leave a pot of water on the stove, and leave baggies of chopped ham, onions, tomatoes, and grated cheese in the refrigerator, and when my 18 yo son comes through wanting to know what there is to eat, I tell him stuff's in the fridge for ziploc omelets. Have fun!
