I just finished piecing the duck fabric in a disappearing 9 patch using bright yellow and it turned out great.

there are so any possibilties with fabrics and sometimes you have to think outside the box. and it depend on what the person making it likes. Good luck.

I had some duck fabric very similar to this, cut it into squares and then used an attic window setting for a baby quilt.

I think using the duck fabric in large blocks with 4 or 9 patch blocks between would be nice and quick. The other fabric would be nice for a backing but be careful as it may stretch if you are quilting it. It may be best to tie a quilt with this fleece fabric. They are both cute fabrics.

Who would have ever imagined it? I was going to suggest not cutting the fabrics at all and making patchwork tops.

I had the ducky fabric and the others that coordinated with it and in the girl print too. I used that pattern for the back of the quilt. It turned out really cute.

I would find some fabric that matches and make 4 patches. and use the other fabric for backing.
