Hi I like the sounds of your quilt. Can you send me some pictures when you have them? Thanks!

Very pretty, like the way the florals look against the light fabric. Wow, so many ideas from you ladies , great ones tool.

I have seen some floral log cabins on the board here. I thought they were really pretty. If you have a lot of odd pieces you could do some scrappy quilts where you sew strips to a piece of lightweight cotton, paper, or used dryer sheets. When you get a number of blocks sewed together, you can square them up and sew them together, with or without sashing. I just searched for scrappy foundation and found a bunch of links on the Quilting Board.

There are so many beautiful quilts that can be made with left-over florals. Last winter I made a simple quilt top using floral scraps - representing flower gardens surrounded by solid walkways. It was intended as a charity quilt. Pretty simple and not that great.

Then my Dad's caregiver decided to get married... A few hearts and pinwheel flowers changed it into a Garden of Love.

Makes me wish I had more scraps!!

I agree with the concensus on a log cabin. The colors will be great and should pop right out. Whatever you do it will be beautiful.

You could try a lattes quilt, with the lattes done in a darker green to make the flowers pop.
    Good luck and GOD bless.
