"squiffy" or not it's a very pretty quilt. What measurements did you use for the squares and HST's Curious, as I'm thinking of using up some of my family reunion quilt fabrics into a scrap quilt for the next family reunion.

Why thank you kindly for your compliment!

Well I made the 4 patches from 10.5" squares and the HST's were trimmed to 20.5" after I cut diagonally to create two HST I think I cut them an inch bigger for fudge room!

What I would say was, if I were to do them again, I would make them from 18.5" cut fabric or lessto allow more fat quarters to be used...didn't think of that when I worked out the backing size ;-) :-D

Oh you don't need courage to make this quilt, it is very simple and you could make a few of the smaller blocks as and when you can, it's surprising how quickly they go together if you chain piece them, I do so hope you try soon!

Thanks for your prayers for John too

You did a great job on this. Sorry that your DH is undergoing such a trial. You are certainly talented in making scraps work to your advantage. God bless you and keep you and John strong.
