There's four Martha Dorcas in Washington, listed on 411.com, but none in Marysville. I googled the church, the phone number and address are:

Grace Bible Church
8521 67th Ave NE
Marysville, WA 98270
(360) 659-8517

She may still be in touch with some of the church members that would help you locate her.

You could start by locating the church and writing a letter to them, if she was a member they should have her name. If the church is closed, there may be a problem!

Have you heard yet, is this the lady your looking for? I don't think the quilt is worthless just because the price was only a dollar. It could mean the gentleman just didn't have a clue, or just wanted to get rid of stuff real quick.

I think it would interesting to see how far it has traveled and been loved along the way.

The quilt is gorgeous. I hope you find her. It sounds like a fun trying to locate her and see her or her family's reaction.

I was at a church and they were giving away an embroidered quilt signed. They offered to all of their missionaries. I knew the children of the lady who made it and I told them I felt terrible taking it (the lady had died). However, the children didn't want it--so gladly took it!

I hope that it turns out okay...that the reunion is a happy one.
