I've read every thing Mary Higgens Clark has written. I also love the series by Jennifer Chivereny (sp wrong) she writed the Elm Creek series and I love her web site. I like VC Andrews as well; she was the first books that I really read if a series. I can't think of her name but I like the author of the Arcane society books and the author of The Twilight Series. I keep my Nook with me and can always find something I want to read

I have several. I like Koontz and King for the kind of scary stuff, Mave Binchy, Jodi Picoult,Debbie MacComber Luanne Rice and a bunch more for "womens fiction" Jeffery Deaver for crime drama. I could go on and on. Oh yeah also Jennifer Chiverarinni SP? and her elm creek quilters series. Oh, and Charlaine Harris's Sookie books. Okay I'm done (for now) :) lol

John Grisham. I used to be a Stephen King, but then the books all started sounding the same.

Read a lot of Debbie MacComber as she is easy to read. Grab them up whenever I can find them at rummage sales. Hope to have read all of hers someday. I too have Emilie Richards on my list. I enjoyed all of Fannie Flagg's books, and the complete set of Jan Karon and her Father Tim in Mitford books. I have almost all of the Chicken Soup books-pass those around all the time. But my all time favorite writers are a tie between Nicholas Sparks and Mitch Albom.

Janet Evanovich, an author from trenton NJ, one of my home towns. Very funny bail bonds woman/ detective.

Steven King: Misery, Delores Clayborne, Rose Madder, The Body; known as the movie Stand by Me. Not everything he does is horror

Jean Auel: Clan Bear series

L. Ron Hubbard: Battlefield Earth and the Mission Earth series

Iassic Asimov: Everything

Salman Rushdie: Everything

Lisa Lee: Snowflower and the secret Fan and Shanghai Girls

EDIT: I forgot my favorite: CHARLES DICKENS

Janet Evanovich is my all time favorite author! Love her books can hardly wait for the movie to come out - I hope I'm not disappointed. Besides her I read a lot of James Patterson, Debbie Maccomber, Mary Higgens Clark, i will read just about anything except horror - never been a fan of Steven King - sorry:(
