Bought a roll before price increase hit on batting, plus I do use 40% coupons. I use to work for Hancock Fabrics until last January when I left and when they marked down they marked down the discontinued prepackaged batting I purchased it. Can't beat 2.00 for queen size batts, cotton and wool both!

Hobby Lobby has it for $12.99 I believe, and I used their 40% off coupon.

Hobby Lobby usually has a 40% off coupon in the Sunday paper and I'd use that.

I never thought of going to Joannes for batting, usually when I go they have the polyester thick bat. I think I'll look again, they do have frequent sales, and coupons too.

A couple of weeks ago I bought Warm & White yardage at my local Hobby Lobby at $12.99/yard, but used my 40% off coupon so the cost turned out to be $7.79/yard. Unfortunately, I didn't price the Warm & Natural that day, but it's often a little bit cheaper than Warm & White.

Yep! I get it at JoAnn's on sale. I do mostly kids charity quilts so I catch the queen size on sale (I can get 3 to 4 kids quilts out of the queen size). Last time I got it for $14.99 less 20% off transaction coupon. The queen size is 90 inches by 3 yards so I ended up paying $11.99 for 3 yards (or $4 a yard)!! I bought enough to last me a while at that price!! Watch and take advantage of those sales combined with transaction coupons - can't beat them!!

I do the same. It's rediculous how prices of everything just keeps going up while the paychecks stay the same but as long as we continue paying the price it will continue as it is.
