Look at what was given to me for free!!!!

How beautiful! I have a 1654 and was the first thing I bought once I got a job. Maybe 1971 or so. It is the only machine I have and my friends look at it when we have our little show and tell's with the quilts we are making at the time and they all look at me like I'm crazy keeping it. It loves me back!!! I've picked up quilting the last 5-6 years or so and it's been sewing non stop. I did my own oiling and somehow I didn't oil it enough or oiled it toooo much and it got "gummed up"... $70.00 later it purrs like a kitten. They said don't let it set for long periods of time without using it... hummmm.. It sat idol lots of times when the kids were little and no time to sew. Go figure...
Yours is more delux than mine, but its a keeper. I got a 1/4 inch foot when I started to quilt as it didn't have one.
It's a keeper! Good luck.
