I got a label maker last year for Xmas and have labeled things which has helped tremendously. Now at least things are marked so I know what some things are!

I don't know about lost items..but everytime I reorganize my sewing room, I find material I didn't remember having! It's like shopping all over again...

I find when I reorganize that I find the item that I replaced once, twice or three times then!!! Guess that's why our quilt group always had such great quilting supply/patterns swaps!

I like to keep my stash and Supplies in those Clear Plastic Shoe boxes and larger ones too... Keep them stacked close to the Sewing machine... and I write on the outside where I can read it What is inside... I know what you mean - I had bought some supplies and just kept them in the sack rolled it up and tucked it - Then couldn't find it... I keep my latest project- doll clothes in a clear box with White lid written on in Red Sharpie - got to get them sewn before our Christmas on Sunday the 23 rd. Merry Christmas everyone...
