    Joanne, I used a fairly inexpensive wide backing from 1000s of bolts. It is thier Quilters Choice fabric. I haven't noticed any difference in the backing so far. They been hanging about three years. It the backing wears out before I'm ready to toss these, I'll just add another layer.

    I love the quilting stitches, too. They add so much. I just got a new machine that has those stitches, so I'll have to bookmark this page.
