I have heard of this at one time or another, but unless I go home and find a real flaw in the fabric, I'd never return it. Returning fabric - what a strange thing to me at least.

I was told that same thing a while back. It about knocked me off my feet. I could not believe anyone would return fabric.

I haven't done this but I have an email friend who does it all the time and any other gadget that she isn't happy with.

Unused clothing pattern, maybe if it was the wrong size. Otherwise I figure it will eventually get used.
I'm like you. I figure, I bought it and they cut it for me--it should stay mine.

Why return it, I'd just have to buy it again when I finally decide the next quilt I want to make.

I knew you could do it, but I never have done it.

I've heard of that but I never return anything because it goes into my washing machine the instant I get it home. That way I don't forget to wash my fabric.

I have returned fabric to Joann's before. I bought about 5 yards in the store, in a hurry, and when I got home and looked at it, I could see my hand through the fabric. I did return it.

I wish I had returned some of the ugly fabric I bought there once but it was gifted to someone making pet beds and she was thrilled with the donation and the shelter animals didn't care either.

I have bought fabric with a flaw before because it was exactly what I needed and there was enough to work around the flaw to get what I needed for the quilt.

I have to return in my whole life time was when I bought several yards. When I got home and started cut on the other side of the material was a hole and run in the material. I was there while clerk was cutting the material, and I never saw it until I got home.

    Default Only once

I have return only one time in my whole life time material. When I got home and started cut on the other side of the material was a hole and knot in the material. I was there while clerk was cutting the material, and I never saw it until I got home. Now I watch very careful, and check the material, before the clerk cuts the material
