    What a beautiful machine! What is the motif in the gold work on the irons? It looks something like an ear of corn.

    That is shuttle lair the long bobbins. Vibrating shuttle machines use them.

    LOL, that's too funny!

    I used Glen's Cleaning method from this thread and it works!!!!
    (I have only used Part 1 so far)

    This pic shows the edge "mung" just going away...


    Cleaning the support post revealed that the top of the wooden post is a rubber bumper


    and the beauty shot...

    the link works on both of my PC's and my phone...

    The dual pic is a "bug" (as I understand it) that the powers that be are working to resolve.
