If only.....car washes can only be opened two days a week, unless they cart in their own water from outside our area. Good idea though! We haven't been allowed to wash our cars at home for 4 years...my sports car enthusiast husband finds that harder than you can imagine...

BUT, my pansy quilt is now ready to for the binding! Pansy garden quilt straight ahead!!

Thanks, Joellyn! The boldness of those yellow pansies was almost more than I could bear....but the light purple saved the day!!

Have you used your fabric yet? What pattern did you put it in, if you used it in a quilt? I still have a yard and a half of it and am looking for ideas.

(We had over 100 days of 100+ temperatures in a row the first summer of the drought. That is what started it.) But....enough of our water problems. ...So, I gave myself a quilt full of flowers.

I am pretty pleased with it....(and at the same time I think it looks a bit like a table cloth. ) But, I have artificial daisies in my flower pots out front, and a pansy quilt here inside. Life is good.

Oh, the pattern is Warm Wishes.

You must live near me in South Texas! I'm in Corpus, we can only water on the trash pick up day (once a week) before 10am and after 6pm

I would be pleased too. Your quilt is so pretty. I'm sorry you can't have flowers out side. My dick has three rail planters and two hanging basket planters in the summer. I would gladly share them with you if I could.

No, you are way south of me. I am in Wichita Falls, about 8-10 hours away, in central north Texas. You can water 100% more than we can. At least last summer we could water our trees. Well, we can this summer, if we use shower water or bath tub water that we have bucketed and carry out to them....which is exactly what we do.

But I wish you more water too. Soon would be good.

You are sweet. I have friends in Oregon and in Maryland who regularly email me pictures of their flowers. That helps. I even got a beautiful picture from Oregon this morning of trees with their leaves turning color. Beautiful...and not happening here. Trees need a good water supply for their leaves to be pretty in the fall

But, we will survive, even if our climate change is to full-fledged desert, which we are all hoping won't actually happen. There has been significant rain on three sides of us, all within 60 miles. So it just needs to come again and this time aim at us!
