We do not exchange gifts, we have everything we need or want. We donated a bunch of that green stuff to the local food bank.

Hubby surprised me with a tower heater and a magnifying light on a stand for the sewing room. I was shocked because I had never thought about either one, but they will be great. I also got wonder plastic clips in the large and small size.

I bought myself some really cute quilt and craft patterns and wool packs to make those hand projects. And thinking ahead, I bought 2 new summer dress patterns for my brother's baby daughter. And a couple vogue blouse patterns to make up for my sis's birthday in may.

One of the dress patterns was a reproduction of a vintage McCall's pattern that was from the Ding Dong School on T.V. in the fifties. Remember Miss Francis?

Sorry, here is the link. What a fun summer dress it will make up to be.

I got myself a professional steam iron - a Sapporo SP527 gravity feed bottle steam ironing system.

I've gone through 5 domestic steam irons in the past 5 years. What I spent on them was about the same price as this one was on sale. I really like it - it's made ironing so much easier.
