So it isn't just the cold weather that cracks the fingers! lol Granted you have had some cool temps for Georgia but up north here, we still have piles of snow leftover from Christmas Day. Thank you for the note about the super glue. I have heard this before but just never gave it a try for fear of something--what, I am not sure. Maybe I best take a stroll through the garage and fix these thumbs. Ah shucks, I thought this note would be attached to the Grandma from Georgia and it is not. Guess I am so new to this Board that I have not mastered how it works.

A long arm machine and the room to put it in and still be able to move around. LOL

I think I would like to have enough money to send every quilt top I make out to a LAQ. Then I could make all the tops I want, without havig to worry about how to quilt them.
If I can sell my Pfaff Grand Quilter and Inspira Frame I could use that money to send out quilts. I tried for two years, but just couldn't get the hang of it, so now I guess I need to get it on Craigs List or Ebay, but it will be a bear to ship.

A space to call my own that I don't have to share with DH, DD, animals, & company.
A place where I can leave projects out all the time, close the door, and walk away w/o fear of what will occur if I am not right there.
Otherwise except for batting and backing I am pretty well set for my needs.

If I had 3 wishes from a genie then My first wish is for me to be able to match colors and whenever I go shopping for fabric I wish I could find what i want at the price I can afford! My last wish would be for me to be able to go to the Houston quilt show...

Have you tried O'Keeffe's Working Hands? That stopped my fingiers from cracking. Home Depot didn't have it, but found it at Harbor Freight Tools. You can google it to see who sells it.

I agree with the more time to sew. I don't even have kids at home; work a forty hour week and a little over time once in a while is about all I can muster. I don't know how you guys do it.

1)A longarm machine with stitch regulator; and the room to work with it!
    2) retirement, in order to devote time to #1!

I want a stash! I use most everything as fast as I get it, with the exception of my Dear Jane stuff...hence the second wish would be for more time!
