Love the orange fabric so I have to ask, where did you find it? I can see it in a Kaleidoscope. But some of the other suggestions are good too. I am working on a French Braid and it might work up great as the focal fabric in that. Keep the Board posted on your progress.

in fons and porters magazine they did a garden windows quilt with two large print fabrics. the center square was actually 2 HST of the large florals. then they were each sashed with cornerstones. then you lay it out in a light/dark pattern. i made one in purples and greens for my king sized bed. i made 120 squares in a couple of days. Elinor Burns garden trellis pattern would also be great.

OBW or S&W for sure, the S&W would lend itself better to using some of the tans and greens

applique is right, that is what it is called, I never remember it, because the girls always call it a potato chip quilt. They turn out so beautiful, and two people using the exact same material come out with totally different quilts. This is also a very fast and easy quilt.

I can see making a 9-patch with the green and orange or green and beige and using the large floral as an alternate block (fussy-cut). That would look pretty and you can adjust the size of the 9-patch to the size of the feature (or vice-versa).
