Looks great. Just keep practicing and remember to relax as it shows up in the stipling. Don't forget to wear gloves also. Almost all I do is FMQ and I love it. Washing and drying helps a lot.

I think it looks great! My first stippling attempts looked like I was having seizures while sewing. It takes awhile, but now my backs look as good as the front. Practice is the key!

Lovely quilt, I'm sure only you will notice the uneven stitches!

Your quilt is beautiful. What size? about 16x16. I tried on a very large quilt and made a mess. Your colors are great.

 Well I got a good chuckle out of that mzsooz. I know how you feel the first time I tried it I felt the same way you do.
Someone suggested to me that I use some old pillowcases or sheets, sandwich them together and practice on those. It worked out great. I am still not anywhere where I would like to be but I love doing my own quilting. I find it very relaxing now that I am better at it. As long as my machine behaves itself, LOL.

I try and try free motion, mainly no good at it. One thing, I think I get in a hurry to get it done!!!! So after ripping out 2 entire lap quilts from bad free motion, I have made sandwiches for practice. Will turn them into hotmats. I intend to learn free motion and get good at it! Then make some more and practice again til I get it! I am tired of ripping out!

Thanks! It is actually 20X20. I decided to try the stippling on a small project first and glad I did. Probably should have started with a potholder!!
