I have used the pinked ones and have had no problem. It depends on the company whether they ar pinked or not. I like the pinked edges, no raveling. I think moda pinks all of theirs, but I have bought the ones with a smaller pinked edge and the ones with the straight cut edge. I love them because of the variety of fabric you get.

I knew the charm squares' edges were pinked. I didn't know about the Moda jelly rolls. I haven't bought many jelly rolls yet so thanks for the info. This site has so many great ideas and good information.

I have not bought and used jelly rolls yet. Thanks for posting these difficulties you have had. Now I know what to watch out for in the future. I have been trying to use up fabric in my stash and use it up.

Well there you go, I knew this was the best quilting board.
I started with a gripe and now everyone has a heap of ideas for helping out...thankyou to everyone who shared their thoughts/ideas I'm sure many on here have also been helped in some way.

I do hope that I dont have the same problem, as
I have just purchased 100 x 5'' squares on e.bay,
and like yours they are pinked.

I always stop before a project and use the can of "dust off spray" and change the needle, but of course the size of the cut would sure cure me from buying that, sorry about your project, but a clean machine from the start always starts me off well and the cans of air last a long time

Fuzz everywhere. I get my machines cleaned and serviced at least once a year and defuzz them regularly, so the pinking fuzz is not a problem for me. Let's face it, sewing is a very "fuzzy" hobby.
