Congratulations on picking yourself up and proving the doctor wrong. I am sure it will be a long road but stay positive and push yourself to sew.

I just plain have trouble using a foot controller. So - I used dome duct tape & heavy duty staples and taped my foot controller to my sewing table. Maybe you could get your husband to do that for you on the left side. I too have an inexpensive Brother machine that has a push button that eliminates the foot pedal. My daughter likes it - I don't use it much but it does come in handy when I need it. Prayers for you.

Hugs and more hugs to you! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as you continue your recovery. Sounds like you are a strong woman and will defy all odds so I expect to see photos of some great quilts that you have made in the not too distant future. I do hope you can find relief for your continuous pain. That has to be the worst part!!!

It sounds like you are slowly picking up those pieces -keep going & grasp onto your inner strength. I admire your courage & determination. Hopefully at your visit tomorrow you will learn some techniques to make life easier for you.

If you need to rest your body for awhile, just hop on this board & time will fly! Supper you say? I just had my morning coffee!LOL

You certainly will be in my prayers.
I agree with all the said before. You will prevail. Any adaptations you may make will help you in your healing. Gods Love to you.

I hope you soon get some relief. My mother used to put her foot pedal up on the cabinet and sew with her elbow shen she had fallen and hurt her legs and back.
